Couldn't be happier with our choice of hotel. Perfect location, wonderfully friendly and helpful staff throughout, incredibly comfortable (and quiet) rooms and beautiful breakfast selection (in a room full of character). The staff really are a joy and the location is perfect to explore on foot. The hotel had a "boutique" feel and had everything we required. We were by no means the only guests there, although sometimes it felt like the place was there only for us. Even the wi-fi is excellent! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The hotel was in the best location for tourists, right in the centre of the city. The beds were very small but comfy, the room was warm, we had problems with the keycard system to our room and one day we couldn’t get the door to lock and had to get reception to fix it by calling maintenance. Rectified by the time we came back in the afternoon. We didn’t eat anything in the hotel so can’t recommend any foods or outlets. Looked at the room service menu and it seemed dear for what was on it. Overall I would give it a low eight out of ten.

The location was great. About a block away from calle gran via and close to public transport. The staff was friendly. I wish I were better with names but I liked the one who checked me in and out. The room was on the smaller side but was more than adequate for what I needed. The room service was good and lightening fast. I was a bit concerned with all the construction and the area seemed a little sketchy but it ended up not being a problem. The temperature control was good. I loved the shower and how nice and hot it was.

Sandra, the receptionist is so lovely and helpful. She always smiles and happy at work, whatever time of the day. The breakfast is excellent, fresh fruits and juices. They have accommodated me for an early breakfast for an outing one morning. The location is excellent, convenient for sight seeing, meals and tours. An excellent vegetarian restaurant, Artemis, just round the corner.

Although there is some noise from the construction on plaza del carmen, the thick glass from the balcony windows did a good job insulating them to an acceptable level. Breakfast was good and had plenty of options. Would stay in this hotel again in the future :-)
